1 entry for “Flashing”
Check joints, windows, doors, flashing, penetrations, roofs, and gutters for plausible water-entry paths. Compare those observations with the failure pattern.
After drying, inspect for uneven coverage, missed spots (holidays), flashing, and tannin bleed-through. Assess the complete area and transitions, not only the center of the siding boards.
